Conditions & Fees

All appointments are confirmed at time of booking and a 48-hour weekday cancellation policy applies. If the cancellation is made later than this time, the full fee will remain outstanding.

Telephone, Teams, Zoom, FaceTime, Skype consultations, as well as private home and hospital visits are available.

Please note that when the consultation fee is to be claimed through health insurance, it is the patient’s responsibility to ensure the consultation is covered/authorised beforehand. The fee must be settled with the medical billing company Medserv, which runs the accounts for the practice, and a refund obtained from the insurance company by the patient, if appropriate. Please discuss with the admin staff if there are any queries.

FEES

The initial consultation will be an in-depth assessment, in which Jane will discuss health history, lifestyle and what is required from the sessions. All advice is bespoke, and therefore the first session is the time to discuss why nutrition support/intervention is needed.

The first two consultations, which usually last up to 30 minutes each, cost between £200- £250 each, depending on circumstances.

Follow-up consultations may also be long and are charged at the same rate. Hour long appointments can be arranged for patients, with prior discussion, whereupon the individual session rate will be agreed beforehand. Short follow-ups, which last up to 15 minutes each, cost from £150 each.

Home and hospital visits are billed on an individual and hourly basis and include travel time and expenses.

On occasions, payment will be required before the appointment takes place, in which case Medserv will be in touch.
