Welcome
Welcome to my personal web site and blog. Some areas of the site still aren’t as complete as I would like them to be, but slowly but surely it will get there. There just never seem to be enough hours in the day and to be honest too, when I do snatch some minutes, I seldom get the desire to get on my computer as Maya, my gorgeous nine year old daughter is far too alluring!
Please feel free to 'drop-by' to the site whenever you like. You can also come and see me in my practices if you want my help sorting out a health problem-I treat a wide variety of medical conditions, from those that affect your digestion, heart, mind, weight or hormones, as well as supporting and treating patients with Cancer, working alongside eminent Oncologists and Surgeons. I also love seeing those who just want some inspiration as to how to eat well and deliciously to maximise their wellbeing and/or performance-having built up a strong reputation amongst professional athletes and sports professionals for the past two decades.
I believe everyone is unique and I therefore treat you as an individual, taking into consideration all aspects of your health and lifestyle.
If you can't make it to my practices, you might want to look at past articles on the Daily Mail, London Times and Observer websites for health and nutritional advice, or tap into the advice and inspiration in my books-see my books section on this site.

Let’s hope this dryness lasts just long enough for the ground and the plants to sort themselves out, as it would be such a shame to lose the tender stems of pea and broad beans to fungi and sodden ground.
Talking of sodden ground, poor Maya returned last week from a few nights spent under canvas, where she and her school friends learnt how to fend for themselves in the bush, but it seems more like one giant mud bath, judging by the state of her belongings! But I guess when you’re nine, any time out in the elements, mucking around with your friends seems fun-I’m just glad I was tucked up in the warmth, having dug out my thermals for extra snugness.
It is such an incredibly dynamic time of year, with work full on and exciting- you might like to check out the wonderful book a patient and now friend of mine Gemma Levine has just published about her journey through cancer treatment-called '
Go with the flow'. I was honoured to contribute towards such an inspiring book, so fingers crossed it raises the sums it deserves for
Maggie's centres.
Home is also bursting with activity with the lambs and calves in the fields and much to Maya’s excitement blue tits nesting in her home made bird boxes. So all in all there is a lot to take our minds into such happy contented meditative places.…....
